Oh Happy Day

Sorryyy, I have a TON of other pictures to show you from over the past 2 months, but I’ve just gotta post about this first x3

But first let me give you this picture that I just finished putting together of Mathilda’s very lovely home in the northern part of town. It looked beautiful and so cosy, sitting in the snow among the red roses and tulips and with the lights on, so I wanted to share that with you now, because the rest of this post isn’t spectacular pictures-wise. And there’s Pierce in the background, just doing his thing.

So… what’s this happy day all about?

As you can see, Redd was in town again this Tuesday, and thankfully I was able to visit him despite Nook’s already being closed.

Because I was stupid, I didn’t take a photo on in the inside, because since when does Redd give you what you need, when you need it? And an authentic one at that.

Well, he did so this day The solemn painting is the last I need for my art exhibit, and there it was sitting pretty up the back of Redd’s tent, and upon gingerly handing it to Blathers (I closed my eyes at this point ), it turns out to be genuine! Hooray

WHOOOOOOO! I mean, HOOOOOOOO!

Well that was a surprisingly easy-going response for Blathers! o_o
And for the insect I thought was the worst of the lot!
Well, so much for a grand finale – I should have given him a cockroach

IT’S DONE!!! xD And “everyone” would have to include Amy from Dafdilly and Red Bank, who went the extra mile right at the end and ensured I would catch that dratted banded dragonfly xP THANK YOU!!

Ahh… Ahhhh, the feeling of completion ^_^

And Blather’s welcome dialog completely changes after that! o_o I already can’t remember what he used to say, but it’s definitely going to take a while before I get used to the new greeting. After all, we listen to the old one for about 3 years

Yay, another beautiful house picture! I’ve had that house shape a few times in my town, but neighbors always pick the green house style instead of the pink one with wooden fans. >_< It looks like Pierce is staring at a bug in the background.

Woah, congatulations Teru! It must feel really good to have the museum complete, to wander through the full exhibits, and to only have to give unidentified fossils to Blathers now. For some reason I thought you also needed the moving painting, The Birth of Venus by Boticelli, but maybe I’m mistaken or you got that a while ago. I still need the worthy painting and haven’t even seen counterfeits of it at Redd’s.

I think your giving the mosquito last did make for a grand finale, saving it in your house all this time! Mine is going to be rather boring, either the firefly, or most likely, the worthy painting. Congratulations again! I’ve never seen the dialog for a completed painting exhibit, let alone for a completed museum or a letter from Blathers, so this was really interesting to read. I look forward to looking through your museum the next time I visit Bundeena, and also to seeing your town model room. Is there room for the town hall model?

I remember seeing the “double fan” during the time I was rebuilding, and it really stood out. It looked so unique I had to double back and check if it was even following standard (AC:WW) building conventions (which it was, ofc)

You’re exactly right, I was missing the moving painting (wow your mind’s clearer than mine; I didn’t even remember it was called moving painting), but that was until recently But it was in the 2 months that I “skipped” I should have put it in the same post, but when it came to creating it, I forgot -_- Strangely, after completing the museum Blathers continues to ask for donations. Of course then he laughs at you for already donating anything you present to him -_-

HAHA, I had to laugh when you mentioned the town hall model, because after taking those photos the exact thoughts that crossed my mind were, “Is there space for the town hall model? Pfft, as if I’ll be getting that any time in the next 10 years!” Considering I haven’t even gotten the piggybank yet, having enough room for it is hardly the problem xP

Woot that’s great!!! Complete museum? Congratulations!!! I thought that letter from Blathers was really cute! Well congrats, and congrats! You must be very happy!
